Born in Tokyo and raised in Saitama (Pittsburgh’s sister City) Ken Yoshi manages the firm’s Japan Practice with the Luvara Law Group, LLC. As a Japanese-native and Pittsburgh resident, Mr. Miyamoto has litigated more cases than most Japanese lawyers in the United States over two decades. As a learned practitioner in both Japanese legal practice and American law, he provides a bridge between the United States in various jurisdictions and Japan, and serves various Japanese communities in the areas of contracts, business and tax planning, estate matters, real estate, as well as discrimination, hate crimes, and criminal defense.
In addition, Mr. Miyamoto possesses skills for speaking and translating in both Japanese and English, and he is versed in commercial activity between the two countries. He is admitted to the Bar in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New York, and the District of Colombia. His education includes his receiving of his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and his undergraduate degree was at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York.
